A truly wonderful memorial to an amazingly gifted young man who was taken from this earth way too soon. I never got to meet David in person but feel like I have through his mothers wonderful words about him. Not a day goes by that Rhonda and Steve are not in my thoughts. God bless you David and may the angels keep you xx

Dear Rhonda, I'm so sorry about David. He's beautiful. You see the happiness and light in his eyes. He was obviously very, very loved. My little boy, Angel, died on the same day, 8/11/09. Maybe they took the same stairway to heaven. David seems so goodhearted-I know he'd watch out for my little one.

Very fun and happy life. I am sure that he is an Angel in Heaven with no regrets about anything. He sees things on a different level as an Angel... He loves everyone in spite of their downfalls- not like we as humans on Earth can hold regrets, etc. Wow! this young man seemed to be very awesome! God made him and now he is home with the one who loved him more than anyone... God is showering him with love and gifts!

Your smile could brighten anyone’s day,
No matter what they were going through,
And I know everyday through the rest of life,
there will be so many people missing you.

There was never a time that I saw David where he wasn't flashing that beautiful contagious smile that lit up everyone's lives around him. David was humble, kind and an inspiration to others. Words cannot describe the difference that David has made in his short life...and will continue to make for years and years to come.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful son David. This journey that you have begun is not an easy one as you know, but I would like you to know that you are not alone. As I looked through the photos of David and read about him, I thought of my own son. They had so many things in common. Everything from his love for family and friends to his love for baseball and the girl of his dreams! My son was only 17 when he went to Heaven. He was going into law enforcement after graduation, he too, wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. You find so much support on this site and I look forward to learning more about David as you continue to add things. Sending you loving thoughts and prayers. God Bless
p.s. God much really love baseball and undoubtedly has the best team ever in Heaven. One day we will watch again from the stands and cheer our boys on.
